Tasting notes

Yellow/greenish colour. Looks young. At first the nose shows a little muted, but it opens up with just 30 minutes of air. It becomes a intense and great nose. Mineral, citrusy nose. Hints of honey and riper fruits. Also lots of mint and leafier notes. Complex and fine. Fullbodied and quite some sweetness in the mouth. Yet this has a brilliant acidic structure. Crisp and refreshing. Not very powerful mouthfeel for an auslese goldkapsel, yet this has great concentration. Lots of stoney minerality, citrus-notes and leafy, minty notes. Underneath there is a touch of honey and perhaps a tad botrytis, but not much. High and cleansing acidity. Very fine. Long mineral and citrusy taste. Tremendous wine. Drink now and the next 20 years.
