Dark and tight red colour. Very fine and intense nose with hints of cherry-stones, earth and raisins. Quite amarone-like. Powerful
Valpolicella in the mouth with great concentration. Cherries, bitter-almonds. Complex, even some minerality. High acidity and some
tannins showing in the back. Long taste. This needs some time, but is very tempting right now. Great Valpolicella and a great wine
from this vintage.
