This is a young and typical ripe sforzato that has some fine fruit in it. Deep red colour. Fruity nose with hints of blackcurrant,
cherries, tar and light tobacco. Some fine floral high-notes. Fullbodied and powerful wine in the mouth. Lots of fruit. Quite sweet
and typical ripe sforzato-notes. Some tar and tobacco. Acidity is round and low for this grape. The end shows quite some tannins.
Good length. This starts to drink nicely but I would hold another 3-4 years. Very fine wine.
