Golden/copper colour. Pretty nose. At first very botrytised and rich. Honeyed fruit with some smoke and minerality. With air the
minerality opens more and more with great depth and hints of perfumed floweriness. Powerful and sweet Vouvray in the mouth. This
has a lot of viscosity, but probably has lost some of its thickness and some of the sugar have been rounded off. Shows a lot of
botrytis and this wine combines it with an unusually fine minerality. The fruit is excellent and clear. With air the minerality
really comes out. Hints of perfume and flowers. Citrusy finish. Good acidity. Long taste. On top now, but still fresh and young.
Has many years of life left. Tremendous wine.
