Yellow-green colour. Nose is perhaps not completely clean. Hints of old woods, wool, honey, green apples. Typical chenin blanc-aromas.
Some complexity and development. Medium bodied Vouvray in the mouth with medium concentration. Some residual sweetness and a soft
style for this grape. Medium acidity and a little sweet honeyed finish. There is some typical chenin blanc-notes here of wool and
honey. But something is a bit blurred. I can't tell if it is the winemaking or the bottle.

This was a lot better and cleaner than the previous bottle which probably then was faulty. This was an evolved and nice Vouvray more
than great. Yellow colour. Fine and complex nose. Mineral and honeyed. Hints of wool and flowers. Half-sweet Vouvray in the mouth.
Round and kind style. Medium concentration. Fine and quite evolved sweetish fruit. Honeyed and a complex minerality. The structure
is a little on the weak side with medium acidity and the sweetness a little too pronounced in the balance. Making it tasting a
little flabby. Medium length. The nose is finest.

Third bottle shows the same as the first bottle. So back to not very cleanly made wine again. Straw colour. Nose shows old woods,
wool, honey, hints of flowers. Grape-typical, but unfocused and unclean. Fullbodied and slightly sweet wine in the mouth. Evolved
wine. Not very clean hints of old woods, flowers and honey. Too unfocused. Soft acids and mild impression in the structure. Medium
length.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note: Aug-07
Forth bottle was cleaner again and showed chenin blanc-typicity, but not the same depth as the best bottle (july-07). Yellow color.
Typical chenin blanc in the nose with hints of honey, wet wool, sweet flowers, some anise. Fullbodied and lightly sweetish Vourvray
in the mouth with good concentration. The balance a bit sweet and flabby for this grape. Honeyed fruit with hints of sweet flowers and
wet wool. A little low acids for this grape. Medium length. Nice enough wine, but not a great Vouvray.
