Tasting notes

Amber colour. Fine and sweet nose with hints of honey, botrytis, slight petrol, dried flowers and slate. Fullbodied and sweet auslese in the mouth. Still quite heavy and creamy style. Concentrated and much fruit. Traditionally style and complex. Quite a lot of botrytis and honey. Some fine notes of dried flowers, petrol. Shows a little development, but this seems surprisingly young. Good acidity, but still a little sweet in the balance. Citrusy finish. This must have been pretty close to a beerenauslese in it's youth. I would like this to loose a little more sweetness. Give it 5-10 years more? Very good wine.
